What is the BIT Olympics?

The first annual BIT Olympics is an event inspired by traditional hackathons, but instead targets the over 800 students in the Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT) program. The BIT program is jointly offered by Carleton University and Algonquin College, and trains students in one of four technical domains:

• Interactive Multimedia and Design
• Network Technology
• Information Resource Management
• Optical Systems and Sernsors

The BIT Olympics is an opportunity for students to showcase and develop their skills, and to network with potential employers.
