BITsoc, short for Bachelor of Information Technology Society, is a student-run club that seeks to help BIT students with their academic careers and social experience at Carleton. We host a range of events, from workshops to game nights and provide a lounge space for our members to play video games, socialize, or study.

BIT Programs are a collaberation between Carleton University and Algonquin College. You learn the theory of and gain hands on expierence in specialized fields.

A focus on multimedia best practices and the creation of multimedia such as games, websites, films, XR, and animation.

Networking Technology

Theory and practical application of the design, planning, and administration of networks.

Optical Sensors & Systems

Explores everything to do with light and light based technologies including computer vision, laser technology, and autonomous vehicles.

Information Resource Management

Creates and studies the management of data, datastores, and their surrounding infastructure.
